Preparing the Portfolio  

The portfolio is a set of written work which is prepared ahead of the Interview with the examiner. The student may perfect their work, using all resources. They then turn in their work to the Examiner on the date of their spoken Interview.

The list of portfolio tasks changes each year. Candidates must make sure they choose portfolio tasks from the CURRENT YEAR'S LIST. Look for ISE I

Students can work on their Portfolio Tasks up to the day before their Interviews are due to take place.

The final portfolio should include only three pieces of work- one piece of work from each category:

1. Correspondence
2. Factual Writing
3. Creative and descriptive writing

The ISE Text type definitionsdocument  explains how Trinity expects each type of text (eg, memos, letters, emails and reports) to be presented, and what each should include. Look for ISE I

Each piece of work should be accompanied by the relevant Portfolio Feedback form from the teacher and the Portfolio Cover Sheet.
