LONDON 2012 


The countdown is on: 108 days till the

London Olympics kicks off. The Olympic site is so big you need a map to work out where all the different venues are

Here is the aquatic centre which will use at least ten million litres of water

And this is where the Canoe Slalom competition will happen - at the nearby Lee Valley  White Water centre

And this is where the beach volleyball will happen. At Horse Guards Parade near Buckingham Palace. Thousands and thousands of tonnes of sand are being brought in  to create beaches for the event

 

The Dome in Greenwich will host the Gymnastics events

And this is Wimbledon where all the Olympic tennis star will head to compete

And back in East London, this is the Velodrome where all the cyclists will race for the gold medal
